Utsuvaara or Levi centre?
A side-by-side look at two ways to stay in Levi: the calm of the fell with the slope close by, or the village within walking distance.
Levi
Levi is Finland's largest ski resort and a year-round fell destination in Kittilä, Lapland. Here is what to do in Levi through the seasons.

Winter
The winter season runs from mid-October to early May. From Utsuvaara Retreat you ski from the door; from Sointuilevi Central you walk to the village lifts.

Summer & autumn
In summer the sun doesn't set, and in September the fells turn red and gold (ruska). The gondola takes you to the top of the fell in summer too.
Northern lights
In Levi the auroras are usually visible from early September to early April on clear, dark nights, most often between 9 pm and 2 am. From Utsuvaara Retreat's terrace you can see them directly.
